Controllability on Infinite Time Horizon for First and Second Order Functional Differential Inclusions in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we shall establish sufficient conditions for the controllability on semi-infinite intervals for first and second order functional differential inclusions in Banach spaces. We shall rely on a fixed point theorem due to Ma, which is an extension on locally convex topological spaces, of Schaefer’s theorem. Moreover, by using the fixed point index arguments the implicit case is treated.

On Second-order Multivalued Impulsive Functional Differential Inclusions in Banach Spaces

Differential equations arise in many real world problems such as physics, population dynamics, ecology, biological systems, biotechnology, industrial robotics, pharmacokinetics, optimal control, and so forth. Much has been done under the assumption that the state variables and system parameters change continuously. However, one may easily visualize situations in nature where abrupt changes such...

Controllability of Damped Second Order Semi-linear Neutral Functional Differential Inclusions in Banach Spaces

In this article, we investigate sufficient conditions for controllability of second-order semi-linear damped neutral functional initial value problem for the class of differential inclusions in Banach spaces using the theory of strongly continuous cosine families. We shall rely on a fixed point theorem due to Ma for multi-valued maps. An example is provided to illustrate the result. This work i...

Semilinear nonlocal differential inclusions in Banach spaces

This paper is concerned with the existence of mild solutions to a class of semilinear differential inclusions with nonlocal conditions. By using the fixed point theory for multivalued maps, we get some general results on nonlocal differential inclusions, which include some recent results on nonlocal problems as special cases. An example of partial differential equations is provided to illustrat...

Differential Inclusions with Constraints in Banach Spaces

The paper provides topological characterization for solution sets of differential inclusions with (not necessarily smooth) functional constraints in Banach spaces. The corresponding compactness and tangency conditions for the right hand-side are expressed in terms of the measure of noncompactness and the Clarke generalized gradient, respectively. The consequences of the obtained result generali...
